EVH has unveiled its new, reimagined 5150 Series Standard and Deluxe models.

The guitars both feature a modified Strat-style basswood body with a deeper upper body curve. The guitars' graphite reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck features a modified “C” profile, a hand-rubbed urethane back finish and a heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel. Meanwhile, the guitars' 12”-16” compound radius fingerboard features 22 jumbo frets and dot inlays.

Sound-wise, the 5150 Series models pack dual EVH Wolfgang humbucking pickups, controlled by a quick access three-way toggle on the lower bout. The guitars also feature a high-friction tone knob and a low friction volume knob.

The models also pack a “dive-bomb certified," top-mount Floyd Rose bridge, locking nut tailpieces with fine tuners and an EVH D-Tuna for switching back and forth from drop-D to standard tuning in an instant.

The 5150 Standard is available in Matte Army Drab, Rocket Red or Satin Primer Gray finishes—with a maple fingerboard—while the 5150 Deluxe features a quilt maple top with Tobacco Burst or Transparent Blue Burst finishes and an ebony fingerboard.

Prices for the new EVH 5150 Series guitars have yet to be revealed.
