Line 6 has unveiled its new Spider V 20 MkII Practice Amplifier.
The Spider V 20 MkII features an interface with color-coded controls and dedicated front-panel buttons. 16 presets - each of which has three effects that can be switched in and out using the dedicated FX buttons on the front panel - come standard. The amp also comes with a Classic Speaker mode.
The amp's Tap/Tuner button allows guitarists to tap in their desired delay times and modulation rates, while also giving them access to an onboard tuner
Sonically, the amp - which stands at less than a foot tall and weighs in at 11 pounds - packs 20 watts of power, and features a custom 8" speaker. A 1/8" stereo headphone jack is also available.
200 additional amps and effects, as well as customization tools, can be accessed through the free Spider V Remote app, which itself can be activated by connecting the amp to a Mac, PC or mobile device via the Micro USB port.
The Line 6 Spider V 20 MkII Practice Amplifier will be available later this month for $179.99.
