Lectrosonics' Karl Winkler and Kelly Fair
Anaheim, CA (January 10, 2018) — In conjunction with this year’s annual NAMM Convention to be held here from January 25-28, 2018, the NAMM Show and the Audio Engineering Society have teamed up to present the inaugural AES@NAMM[1] Pro Sound Symposium, a four-day series of educational sessions and training programs designed for working professionals in live sound, recording and performance audio. Lectrosonics[2] will be participating in several panels and sessions as part of the Entertainment Wireless Academy during the four days of AES@NAMM, including information and training programs for the Duet[3] digital IEM wireless monitor and IFB system, Venue2[4] multi-channel receiver system, and Wireless Designer[5] coordination and management software.
Lectrosonics’ product training sessions will take place on Friday, January 26 and Saturday January 27 from - 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Karl Winkler, Vice President of Sales and Service at Lectrosonics and Kelly Fair, Western Regional Technical Sales Representative, will provide an interactive discussion on the current and future state of wireless microphone technology and use, the RF Spectrum, and best practices for optimizing your systems for the real world. Tradeoffs between various technologies will be covered, including Analog vs. Digital wireless and IEM systems and the issues involved with using both types of systems on the same stage. The latest products from Lectrosonics will be demonstrated and discussed, including the Duet digital IEM, Venue2 multichannel receiver system and Wireless Designer software.
