"Bowie bandmates and world-class players performing a career-spanning concert of Bowie music, Bowie-style."

That's the official description of Celebrating David Bowie[1], and the tribute continues to snowball. CDB was such a hit when it debuted last year that it spawned an international tour, and Guitar Player is proud to help welcome Celebrating David Bowie back to San Francisco with a new mix of musicians performing a fresh set list.

The CDB band is based on Bowie veterans including keyboardist Mike Garson, guitarist Gerry Leonard, bassist Carmine Rojas, and guitarist Earl Slick.

"I'm happy to announce that I am officially joining my longtime DB bandmates starting on the February leg of the Celebrating David Bowie tour," says Slick. "So put on your red shoes, and I'll see you all then."
